Get to Know Me
Throughout the course of my life I have been privileged to have a wide variety of experiences and interests. In high school, I was in band, skied (downhill and cross country), snow shoed, rode horses, was a 4-H member, avid reader and ran sled dogs. As I moved to college I was able to expand my interests to multiple forms of dance, hiking, cliff jumping, and education.
Now that I have settled into "real life" I continue to have many interests in the outdoors. My husband and I like to go kayaking/canoeing, running 5Ks, hiking, traveling, camping, 4-wheeling, cooking, and so many more. My husband and I enjoy being outside as much as possible, caring for our home, and entertaining our Siberian Huskies, Maggie and Miska. This fall (2019) I will be starting my third year at Inland Lakes Public Schools. Inland Lakes has allowed me the opportunity to expand my abilities as a teacher and encouraged me to get creative to make learning fun and hands on. If you are interested more about my teaching or my classroom you can visit my Educational Philosophy or My Classroom pages. I am very much an open book kind of person so if you have any questions please feel free to Contact Me and ask! |
